Our Hillsborough location, at beautiful Rosewald Farm, has openings for Mentors (Direct Support Workers). We are seeking people who will be compassionate and supportive in assisting the individuals we serve. We currently have 5 full time positions available. The following responsibilities and requirements outline the areas that will lead to success in this position.

Responsibilities:

• Support individuals through work experience on our farm, as well as other community activities or appointments
• Maintain accurate records which includes Community Participation Services, notes, medication administration, and various tracking logs
• Assist in implementing and monitoring each person’s Individual Service Agreement
• Maintain safety, appearance and cleanliness of program spaces
  

Requirements / Desired Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Previous work experience – work, volunteer or personal/life experience with individuals with developmental and/or physical disabilities
• Ability to lift, transfer, push/pull, maneuver or reposition 50 pounds
• Meet requirements for background and driving history checks

Signing bonus of $2,000 will be paid incrementally over six months of full-time employment. Bonus will be prorated for part-time employment.
